Brisbane
Home | Australia | Brisbane
Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia and it has developed into a lively, cosmopolitan city with several interesting districts, a good street cafe scene, a great riverside park, a busy cultural calendar and decent nightlife. The city has some interesting museums and historical buildings as well as an excellent cultural centre to offer. The South Bank Parklands is the area south of the river where many people like to spend their spare time. Brisbane is also the starting point for daytrips to enjoy a wide range of landscapes. Don't miss Moreton Bay and its islands that provide the best place for all sorts of water sports. North of Brisbane is the seaside town of Redcliffe, the rainforest and picturesque countryside of Pine Rivers, Caboolture and the Glasshouse Mountains. Bribie Island offers the first surf beach to the north.

* Sample prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and are dynamic in nature. Prices do not include air taxes, insurance, or delivery charges. The airfare portion of the itinerary price is based on economy class, midweek departure. Air taxes and surcharges vary by airports used and destination. The airfare portion of the itinerary price is subject to additional charges, including, without limitation: the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 for each flight segment, with a maximum of up to $5 per one-way or $10 per roundtrip; Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18, depending on itinerary; Federal Segment Fees of $ 3.40 per segment; airline-imposed fuel surcharges; airport taxes and other government-imposed fees depending on routing and destination (foreign or domestic). Most airlines place a fuel surcharge to their taxes instead of to their fares. All these taxes and fees can add up to $450 to the fare. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Prices were accurate at the time we posted them. Sample prices were for a specific travel date and specific departure airport, as indicated. Your prices will vary according to departure cities and travel dates. We do not control prices (airlines and hotel reservation systems do). Prices may change dynamically and at times significantly numerous times during any given day.
